Position Overview and Reporting Relationship:
We are looking for team members who are passionate about delivering great customer service and uncompromising quality. We have positions in our fabrication team and in our installation team for individuals who are excited about learning the stone trade. Experience in the stone industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Reports To: Field Operations Manager
General Purpose of Position:
The successful candidate will learn and gain mastery of all stone installation skills, adhering to company and industry standards including setting, leveling, seaming, cutting, polishing, cleaning, and sealing to ensure that the final product meets all guidelines for quality and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to be Mastered:
- Demonstrate organization and attention to detail in gathering all materials to load the truck.
- Ensure all tools and supplies needed for installations are available and stocked on the truck.
- Maintain an efficient, clean and organized vehicle and jobsite work area.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings, cutsheets and templates.
- Ability to perform all types of edge work, repair of edges, and seams.
- Ability to lay out and complete various types of sink holes and cutouts.
- Ability to hone and refinish polished faces on all natural and engineered stone.
- Ability to cut, shape and repair stone on jobsite to meet the specifications of drawings and/or templates.
- Follow safe loading and unloading of materials to eliminate injuries and avoid damaging pieces.
- Ensure jobsite is thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to leaving. This includes verifying slab has been sealed and all marks and glue have been removed. All dust and debris have been removed from cabinet boxes and floors, and all tools and materials are returned to the truck.
- Follow and comply with the company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and friendly working relationship with all team members and customers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and to ask clarifying questions as needed.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: The position will spend most of the time working in an environment that is relatively loud and under construction. Will be exposed to all types of weather conditions, will require the following physical activities on a regular basis: Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Required to be able to lift 80 lbs. or more at times and work eight (8) to twelve (12) hour workdays depending on business needs. Early morning start time.
Work Location: Our shop is based in Meridian, with installations throughout the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. Must be willing to travel to outlying areas with occasional overnight stays in McCall or other outlying areas.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00+ per hour – depending on experience

- Monday to Friday 7:00 to 4:00, with extended hours required based on business needs.
